This week, the road calls to your fractured sOul, intoning of a shore where completeness waits. This is the dance of the distance: setting forth from a hearth, stepping into the dust of the world to chase a glimmering horizon. For a world of form and shadow, boundaries rule and a pilgrim honours the long miles, the rising sun, and the heavy pack, walking the path of two realities, whilst the heart aches for a separate divinity, seeking a holy sanctuary far beyond the pearly gate.
Yet beneath the rhythm of marching feet, a deeper silence sings. The horizon collapses into the center of your chest. This boundless awareness knows no separation, dissolving the space between you and the Earth. The rugged path, the weary wanderer, and the golden shrine melt into one. Every step lands upon consecrated ground, for the destination animates the very breath of the one who seeks it. There is no distance to cross, only an awakening to the vastness already present within the traveler’s gaze, your gaze.
This week, we are on a more conscious path of Truth as the heart and mind become one melody, played in sanctuary, the paradox of believing that you are alone resolving into silence, just as the 4th seeks to resolve to the tonic. So look upon your altar and realise the entire universe breathes as one unified consciousness.
Blessing for this week
May you step onto this path knowing you have nowhere to arrive
May the illusion of distance fall away from your weary body
When your eyes meet the horizon, may you understand that the seeker and the sought are but one.
When the wind presses against your face, feel the boundary of your skin dissolve.
Cease the long war of trying to get elsewhere, and inhabit where you already are.
Bless the ground beneath you, for it is your own dust.
Bless the sky above you, for it is your own vastness.
Bless the longing in your heart, for it is the Divine remembering itself.
Go forth into the wild intimacy of the Present.
Awaken to the absolute belonging that has always held you.
