The Walkers

A summary of the Centaur’s Pholus and Nessus

The Walkers is a term used to describe celestial bodies that ‘cross’ over the path of other planets, as well as regularly move beyond the boundary of the Sun’s path. This crossing means that these bodies act as bridges to ‘blend’ planets with each other, or more importantly, to bring the message of the unconscious, that of the outer planets, closer to the Earth, making them more accessible.

Additionally, the Walkers account for the myriad liminal experiences that pepper our everyday world, phenomena which are historically considered to be anomalous curiosities. As human consciousness broadens, deepens and matures, humanity’s awareness has extended beyond the physical senses and now requires a language to account for these super-natural states. The conscious realisation of the existence of these Walkers heralds a normalisation of these ‘anomalous curiosities’.

A distinct ‘tribe’ of around 130 Walkers, known as the Centaurs, orbit between Jupiter and Neptune (unlike the trans-Neptunian bodies that orbit outside of that of Pluto and into the Kuiper Belt). These ‘unstable’ bodies are not permanent features of our solar system and therefore are reflective of liminal links that are relative to our humanity as it currently exists.

‘Discovered’ in 1992, Pholus reflects a presence that enables the embodiment of ecstatic vision. Nessus, the third Centaur to be ‘found, a year later in 1993, appears to be a presence that is felt during peak experiences when you skirt close to the perimeter between life and death. These Centaurs emerged around a significant shift in consciousness reflected in the synodic alignment between Uranus and Neptune in January 1993. Reality, as we know it, has undergone a quantum acceleration, with many more people waking up to experiences and ‘forces’ that our material sciences struggle to find a language for, yet are experiences now common to most people.
